CAHOOTS Virtual Town Hall

Friday April 16,2021 @ 7:30pm

CAHOOTS stands for Crisis Assistance Helping Out On The Streets. It provides an alternative to police response for community members experiencing a psychological crisis. CAHOOTS also provides assessment, information, referral, advocacy, and (if needed) transportation to the next step in treatment. It has been successfully implemented in cities such as Eugene.

The Town Hall will feature Tim Black, Director of Consulting at the White Bird Clinic and former Responder and Program Coordinator for CAHOOTS. If you are interested in learning more about how CAHOOTS can be modeled or implemented in cities in the Northern Puget Sound region and Eastside, we’d love to have you!
